Tampa, Fla. (PRWEB) May 6, 2010 -- Java Planet, (http://www.java-planet.com) Tampa Bay’s newest organic coffee company, is proud to announce its participation and commitment to Fair Trade by gaining the certifications needed to be able to use the FTC logo and announce “We offer Fair Trade Certified™ products.”
Jennifer Simmons, owner of Java Planet states “We started Java Planet because we were coffee lovers. We also believe it is important to create a coffee experience that supports a healthy body, a healthy planet and that coffee growers are fairly compensated for their products. Mike Simmons, owner and Java Planets Chief Roaster said “We’re very happy to have this additional certification. My chief responsibility is to make sure we have the freshest, best tasting coffee.
